Tara Johnson was born and raised here in St. Albert. After graduating from Bellerose Composite High School, Tara jumped right into the healthcare field. She spent three years working at Leading Edge as a physiotherapy assistant and then as an aquatic therapist. As any body worker can tell you, direct contact with patients is so important to learning and growing as a practitioner. This experience was a perfect outlet for her passion for helping others while she completed her massage therapy diploma at MacEwan University.
Tara says that once her clinical training started at school, she was hooked. She discovered how much she loves helping those in pain. She spent her massage practicum at the Grey Nuns Hospital where she was placed in maternity, post op, and cardiology.
Sublime Health is so excited that Tara decided to begin her massage career with us. She is such a positive energy to have in the clinic. Her family practice takes care of every age but to further her skills, she is currently pursuing extra training in pediatrics.
When Tara isn’t making people feel their best, she can be found at her family cabin wake surfing, hanging out with her two puppies, and crafting up a storm. As a competitive cheerleader for the Edmonton Storm Supercells, she loves being active.
